Hi, I'm Charlotte and I'm the founder of Fox and Lottie. I'm a mum of two and live on the coast in Pembrokeshire, west Wales. I've worked in the fashion industry my whole career since graduating in fashion design at University many moons ago.
Throughout my career I've worked for various retailers designing children's fashion. Once I graduated from university, I moved to London to work in fashion in the big smoke and loved it. Later, I decided to move to Australia where I lived and worked for a few years. I was lucky enough to design children's fashion for a lovely baby boutique and a national retailer.
I eventually moved back home to the UK and took another design role near Leamington Spa, where I lived and worked and where I met my partner Adam. After falling pregnant with our daughter just as Covid hit in 2020, we decided to buy a house back in Pembrokeshire where I grew up. We bought a 130 year old cottage on the river which needed a lot of TLC (and still does) but it's our story book cottage and it's where we spent most of those long Covid working from home days.
Our daughter Connie, was born in lockdown in 2020 and whilst on maternity leave I decided to concentrate on Fox and Lottie. It has taken me a while to build, but having our daughter really made me kick things into gear knowing I'd spend more quality time with her and her now little brother, Heath.
Being Welsh is an important heritage to me and it's why I have included two Welsh inspired prints into our first collection. We're launching with sleepwear because as a mum my favourite thing to see our kids in is their freshly washed sleepsuits and jammies. I love seeing my babies in beautiful sleepwear and believe you spend half your day in them, why not have high quality ones to snuggle down in at night!
