About Roam

Roam evolved from one mother’s personal journey into reusable nappies.

While researching options during pregnancy, she discovered that the UK alone sends around 3 billion disposable nappies to landfill each year. Shocked by the environmental impact, she began using cloth nappies with her son — starting with just one or two a day before transitioning to full-time use.

The experience was overwhelmingly positive. Modern cloth nappies proved simple, effective and nothing like outdated misconceptions — no boiling pans or safety pins required.

After over two years of hands-on experience, Roam was created to offer a reusable nappy designed with both form and function in mind. Every detail — from measurements and shaping to matte finish snaps — has been carefully considered to ensure ease of use, comfort and reliability.

Inspired by nature and travel, Roam’s calm, neutral colour palettes reflect a more elevated approach to everyday parenting. The first collection is named after parts of California, a place close to the founders’ hearts.

Roam nappies and wet bags are made using REPREVE® recycled polyester — an innovative waterproof fabric created from 100% post-consumer plastic bottles. Each Roam nappy saves an estimated six plastic bottles from landfill.
