Roam

Roam evolved from my own personal experience of using reusable nappies with my son. When I was pregnant and researching the various nappy options, I discovered that the UK alone is responsible for around 3 billion disposable nappies going to landfill each year. I found this shocking and it motivated me to choose reusable (or cloth) nappies for my own baby. We initially started using 1 or 2 a day when our son was very small and we found the benefits far outweighed those of using disposables! We started using cloth full-time when he was around 6 months old, and we haven't looked back since. It has been such a positive experience and I am a huge advocate for modern cloth nappies. There’s absolutely no boiling dirty nappies in pans or trying to fasten safety pins on wriggly babies!
Roam utilises calm, neutral colour palettes, inspired by nature and travel, to suit the discerning parent and child. Our very first collection is all named after parts of California, somewhere my husband and I have travelled extensively and where we got married.
We have considered every detail of the nappy, from the measurements and shape to our matte finish snaps. As important as aesthetics and details are, our primary goal was to ensure that Roam nappies are functional and simple to use. Every part of a Roam nappy has been made to our specific requirements. After using reusable nappies for over two years, we know what works and what doesn’t.
Sustainability is at the heart of Roam and we are proud of the fact that our nappies and wet bags are elevated further, with the waterproof polyester made from REPREVE®. This innovative material is a type of recycled polyester that is made from 100% post-consumer plastic bottles otherwise destined for landfill. Each Roam nappy saves an estimated 6 plastic bottles from landfill.
